My two dear friends from college and I spent a week driving down California's coast, from San Francisco to San Diego. Stops along the way included Santa Cruz, Carmel-by-the-Sea, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Los Angeles.

You may recognize some familiar faces from the Hungary/Poland gallery; despite being spread across the country now, many of us travel together. We've gone twice to our friend's family cabin near Pisgah National Forest, about an hour away from Asheville.
